Recently, Mrs. Drew, JMS Principal, was asked to attend a school board meeting in order to accept an award for Jenkins.  That award turned out to be a trophy for Jenkins Middle School’s participation in last year’s March of Dimes fundraiser.  JMS raised over two thousands dollars, the most out of all the Putnam County schools.  Mrs. Drew shared the wonderful news at a recent faculty meeting.  She also stated that much of our fundraising success was due to Mr. Devon Watkins, our former AG teacher.  Even though he’s no longer at Jenkins, we want him to know how much we appreciate his hard work, and we wish him well in all future endeavors.  And just like any family, should he decide to come see us, the door is always open!
