Students – Reminder, no food or drinks are to be brought into the gym in the mornings. Please finish all food and drinks before entering the building. Also, the cafeteria has put signs up on the walls for students to see what which line serves. For a reminder the first meal is free, however if a student wants something from the one of the other lines they will have to pay for that meal. Also your parents are allowed to bring and eat lunch with you but parents cannot drop of restaurant food for you in the office, they have to stay and eat with you.
Students: If you have to be checked out it must be before 3:30. We will not be able to deliver phone messages after 3:30!
Students/teachers – All students must have a hall pass. Especially when coming to the office. If they do not have a pass we will send them back to class to get one. (Teachers-Only exception is our diabetic students)
Teachers- We will be releasing walkers and parent pick up 3 minutes early from class. ONLY WALKERS AND PARENT PICK-UP. The bus riders will be released from the bell.

Students: If you are interested in becoming a successful leader, consider joining UP & UP. UP & UP is an exclusive mentoring program that promotes scholarship, skill, and service. Students apart of this program will receive one-on-one mentor counseling in academics, community service, personal development, and scholarship. Interested students are required to meet and maintain certain criteria for acceptance into the program. Students – Tardies will start counting against you on Tuesday. After the 3rd tardy you will receive a referral.
Volleyball tryouts will be Wednesday and Thursday from 4:15 – 5:15 in the gym. Permission slips are available in the main office.
Teachers: This is a reminder to take attendance at the beginning of every class period. Also when receiving information sheets and PE waivers, please turn them in daily so we can update in Skyward.
8th graders – Palatka High will be have their annual College Night on Tuesday, September 4th from 6-7:30 p.m. in the commons area. Please make every effort to attend. You will have the opportunity to learn about different programs from over 50 colleges and universities.
There is a weekend pantry for those interested. See Mrs. Hurst for more information.
There are 21st century applications in the front office for those who are interested.

Math teachers: Students should be finishing up with their i-Ready tests this week. Dr. Jones will be in the computer lab in room 3 of building 3 which is Pride Pathway to sit with any students who may need to catch up with their testing today. Dr. Jones will call your class at the beginning of the period for you to send students. Students should report to their regular Math class for attendance and wait to be called before reporting to the computer lab. If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Jones.
